Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963 to a musically inclined family in Newark New Jersey is the daughter of the gospel singers Cissy Houston as well as John Russell Houston Jr. She's also the cousin of singer Dionne Warwick. This helped her achieve seven US Top Ones consecutively. She beat even the Beatles. The album sold 3 million copies the first year and 25 million globally. Her first six Grammys. The Whitney 1987 album, which included Where Do Broken Hearts and I Wanna Dance With Somebody as popular songs, was a way to build on the successes she'd had. But the 1992 film The Bodyguard sealed her spot in the top 20 most-sellers of all-time. While her movie performance and its soundtrack were not popular however, her Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You and The Bodyguard album that accompanied it topped charts across the world for several months.
