Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston was conceived to a musical family 9 August 1993, in Newark New Jersey. Whitney is the cousin of daughter to singing superstar Dionne. As a young girl, Houston began singing professionally in her church's choir. She was a backing vocalist for Chaka Khosns 1978 single Im Every Woman with her mother. She went on to provide backing vocals for Jermaine and Lou Rawls as well as her own mother and worked briefly as models for the cover of Seventeen magazine in the year 1981. Her vocals with the New York-based group Material brought attention to major record labels such as Arista. She signed with Arista in 1983, where she was a part of the company for the remainder of her professional career. The first Whitney Houston album was released in the year 1985. It would become one of the best-selling album by a musician. My Love was her debut album. My Love was released in 1985 and was a top one hit. The album sold US 3,000,000 copies and then increased to 25 million worldwide. The album brought her first of her six Grammy Awards. The follow-up album released in 1987 Whitney that included hits The Place Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built on her success but it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard (1992) that made her one of the top-selling performers of all time. While the movie itself and her performance in it weren't widely reviewed, the soundtrack album as well as her rendition of Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You made the charts of albums and singles for months and sold 44 million copies across the world. The same year, she was married the former New Edition singer Bobby Brown with whom she has a single child Bobbi Kristina Brown, born in March 1993. In 1996, her drug usage was well documented.

Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz as she's more commonly known as, is an American anchorwoman reporter, as well as CNN's political anchorwoman and political correspondent. Her previous work included NBC, CBS and other prominent channels. Additionally, she produces the CNN's weekend shows like Evans & Novak Late Edition and Inside Politics. Her awards and accolades include her inclusion on the Women in Washington Power List" by Elle magazine. She is highly respected for her incredible abilities as a reporter/an anchor.
