Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of abilities, which included the ability perform, direct and produce plays, as well as write them, teach, and be Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the child of both a British father as well as an British-born Turkish Cypriot mother. Anna appeared in numerous commercials as a kid.
