Amy Smart, an American model and actress from the United States. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart began her modeling career there. The first time she acted was in the 1996 TV production Her Costly Affair. It took some time to be a part of Starship Troopers in a smaller character. She struggled with the transition into acting since models weren't considered an actor, so they usually got small roles. Amy was never discouraged. Her first big role came in The 70s followed by Varsity Blues. The romantic comedy Just Friends, which also had Ryan Reynolds, saw her take on some more notable parts. Amy achieved the fame she had been searching for for more than 10 years after her film just Friends debuted. Then she continued to appear in some of the biggest films including the Crank series starring Jason Statham as well as Shameless, where she portrayed a character who remained in the spotlight for a long time.
